CLARE HUDSON DESIGN

My route into interior design was an interesting path. I originally studied law before retraining at KLC School of Design in Chelsea and gained my experience working with a high-end residential property developer in Mayfair and a commercial architectural practice.

My style is relaxed but considered, aspirational yet accessible. Classic interiors that feel comfortable, stylish and designed to last rather than follow passing trends. Having lived and travelled widely across the Far East, the Middle East and South America, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for global design influences. My work often blends contemporary English country house style with elements inspired by international and more exotic aesthetics.

 

I work from my countryside studio in West Sussex, collaborating with a trusted network of skilled makers, craftspeople and trades. Alongside the design studio, I have recently set up our latest venture, an online shop. I work with both residential and commercial clients, creating thoughtful interiors with careful attention to scale, proportion, texture and colour.
